Large Pond Cleaning Kits
Our Revolutionary Pond Bacteria takes the guess work out of treating your pond. Let’s take a quick look at the one ounce packet of Pond Bacteria with Barley Straw. Some confusion as to when to add Bactria has been removed since we have added cold water bacteria strains that work in water temps as low as 35 degrees. Typical dosage is 4 pounds per acre which is equal to 8 of our 8 ounce packets for the one acre pond. Smaller ponds, for example a 1/8 acre pond would only receive 8 ounces. Where would we toss in the packet to cover the pond for treatment?
The guess work has been taken out of that problem as well. WhatPond set up a 1/4 and 1/2 acre kits using one ounce packets, giving the pond many more areas to be treated. Remember the 1/8 acre pond? Instead of one 8 ounce packet, or two four ounce packets, we can now place 8 one ounce packets, creating eight areas of beneficial bacteria colonies to consume muck. If there are troubled areas of the pond like a beach or excess muck, toss a couple extra in that location during your bi weekly application.
